This is the place that defines South Florida living. Imagine yourself in a sunny residence nestled in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood just a 5-minute (two-block) walk to the beach. Lauderdale-by-the-Sea is a unique enclave, a throw back in time, where beach access is easy and even walking to the grocery store is convenient. LBTS is the exact opposite of the mess of massive high rises and lack of beach access you will experience in most of Fort Lauderdale. But don't worry! We are not all lazy walks and quiet beaches- we are located two streets north of the bustling Commercial Boulevard which is lined with all kinds of indoor/ outdoor dining options for breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks and dessert! Publix, Walgreens, Walgreens liquor and more are also just a short walk away.

At the beach, you can enjoy the beautiful sand and surf, walk the pier, fish, sign-up for water sports, snorkel or scuba-dive out to the famous nearby coral reef. You will encounter surfers, pier fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, and kite surfing right there!

We have two-units available for rent in this spacious 4000+ sq ft ranch-style duplex. Each feels like its own single family residence because they share no common walls and are separated by the garage and open space.

Lauderdale by the Sea is a small quaint community that is SO SMALL, NO CAR NEEDED!
You don’t need a car to enjoy our charming beachfront town – everything you need for your beach vacation is conveniently located within a few steps. With beautiful white sand beaches, low-rise, family-owned hotels, shopping and many dining options, all within just a stroll.
We are a “flip-flop kind of town,” so throw a shirt over your bathing suit and enjoy the beach life – we are that kind of place!

There are bike rentals and a free “around Town” Pelican Hopper bus. 

People always say vacationing in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea brings back fond memories of their childhood, and our town’s motto is “Relax, You’re Here!“ for many reasons:

We take pride in being different from our big neighbors to our north and south (Fort Lauderdale and Pompano Beach), exuding old Florida charm with our low-rise downtown building restrictions and predominantly mid-century modern architecture giving us a distinctive identity – and we embrace both of them as important features of our legacy and heritage.

Lauderdale-By-The-Sea stretches from the Atlantic Ocean west to the picturesque Intracoastal Waterway, with beautiful marine sculptures along Commercial Boulevard. Here you will also find locally-owned and operated shops with artisan jewelry, clothing, and gift items, as well as bistro-style eateries, ice cream shops, and bakeries along the way.

Our common areas have been designed with relaxing in mind: public plazas where you sit in Adirondack chairs and chat with your friends or people watch, take pleasure in kids (and grownups!) playing the outdoor games, enjoy live music at various restaurants all year long, as well as enjoy free seasonal dance lessons outside. We have made our beach town a wonderful family-friendly experience for all ages, and know you will have a great time while here.

Recognized as “South Florida’s Beach Diving Capital,” the Town’s shoreline is a mecca for scuba divers with coral reefs teeming with marine life less than 100 yards off the beach. It’s super easy to snorkel or dive right from our sandy beach and go nose to nose with fish, turtles, and lobsters (divers walking through Town is very common here) – and of course, fishing from our historic pier over the ocean is our most iconic place to visit.

We are also designated a “Blue Wave Beach,” a distinction given to clean and environmentally-responsible beach communities. You can kayak, paddleboard, skim and kiteboard right off of our beaches as well. For more leisurely activities, picnic in our seaside parks, soak up the sun on the beach, or relax poolside at your low-rise hotel with the scented breeze reminding you of just how close you are to the ocean.

Internet Near Ocean Private Pool

Close (~2 blocks) to the beach and one street removed from the bustling Commercial Avenue, this huge 1800 sq foot two-bedroom, two and a half bathrooms with a private pool and two tiki huts, tiki bar and is perfect for leisure and fun.

One of the bedrooms has an en-suite bath and direct access to the pool and back-yard. The other bathroom services the unit and the second bedroom.  There is a half bath in the cabana bath/ laundry room. Smart TV's and DirectTV.

Golf cart available for rent on first come, first served basis. Cost: $60/day when rented during booking process otherwise is $100/day and due back by check-out. Minimum rental length: term of stay at Eden's Reef.

*232 Neptune: A spacious 3 bedroom/3 bath with 2 fully equipped kitchens and 2 living areas. *The space is actually a 2/2 plus a 1/1 studio that connect with an adjoining door. There are 2 separate entrances (front and back), and parking for each with a driveway in front and a driveway in the back.** Perfect when traveling with teenagers or the in-laws ;)

Laundry in unit, smart TV with cable, two blocks to beach, one street to restaurants and shopping. 

Provided for your convenience are beach chairs, beach towels, a beach wagon, and a portable cooler.

Golf cart available for rent on first come, first served basis. Cost: $60/day when rented during booking process otherwise $100/day and due back by check-out. Minimum rental length: term of stay at Eden's Reef.

Internet Near Ocean Private Pool

Two adjacent apartments in the same building (duplex), solar heated pool, two tiki-huts, walk to the beach, restaurants, ice cream, and nightlife!  The beach is only two blocks/ five minutes stroll from the property. On quiet, residential Neptune Avenue, this property consists of 5 bedrooms/ 5.5 bathrooms, 3 kitchens, 2 interior dining areas, 3 sitting areas, a large in-ground solar heated pool, an expansive backyard patio with two large tiki huts, a tiki bar, ample seating, chaise lounges by the pool & three grills.  The backyard pool area is vast and secluded for quiet enjoyment of the pool and other amenities with an abundance of comfortable seating. Only two streets south of this oasis is Commercial Blvd where you will enjoy a relaxing stroll to dinner, get ice cream, pizza, sushi, drinks, etc...  Super convenient to the bustle while providing you with a quiet oasis. And did I say, the beach is only a couple of blocks away!
